Yesterday I had the joy of going to school at my old junior high with Mrs. Noto, yes Caitlin's mom. I thought it would be a good experience since she is teaching a 6th grade reading class which I possibly might want to do one day.
It all started as I was introduced to the class as a past student of Mrs. Noto. I received bewildered eyes from these 12 year olds saying "You're old!" (Guys we are old). Then when she told them I went to a&m there was a mixture of excited yelps and a few boos which started this argument between young aggies and t-sippers. I slowly step over to my chair fearing for my life as Mrs. Noto gets the class to calm down.
I won't go any further into the stories of what junior high kids do during class that either made me laugh or feel sorry for their teachers. Some people ask me why I would want to teach that awkward age group. I'm not sure why but as I walked out of that classroom yesterday, I got even more excited about teaching!
I'll try not to bore you with any other stories with junior highers but I will be surrounded by them for the next 5 weeks so I just might have to:)
Also, my last post I complained about my brother. In reality, my brother is one of the coolest people I know. Not only did he win 3 class favorites but he had a rockin concert on sunday. His band and him just made a CD with 6 songs being written by my brother. Ok enough braggin on the bro. With it being his senior year many things I have attended since I have been home has been because of him :)
I hope all is going well for you all. I'm praying for each of your summers. Love yall!
