Leaving Home

It took me awhile to shed the eeriness of waking up to my last day of the semester. This morning pangs me not only with the sadness of goodbye, but the sort of guilt that comes from realizing how many opportunities I have missed to grow closer to my friends. Yet the very thought of you evokes my transition from gloom to anticipation as I think of our time ahead.

It excites to consider the adventures and growth that we shall all see in the next few months, but what excites me more is contemplating August when I come back Home - to College Station with the friends I love.

I hope that only flirted with the line of being too sentimental.

Truly,
Thomas

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His shine upon you and be gracious to you;
The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
