The suprise awaiting me when I got home

I am going to get over my fear of writing on this blog and instead of just thinking "what would I write"... I actually will. So, here it goes!

I have always heard stories when kids leave for college they come home to their room being transformed into a sewing room or scrapbooking room for their mom. I would laugh at these stories and then feel bad for that person whose room was taken away from them without their approval. My room back at home is my get-away. It is the only place I don't have to share a space with another person and sometimes yes, I just want to be selfish.

Well for the past 2 years since I have been at college little by little my brother has been creeping in my room taking over space. At first I didn't mind. I'm not home so the space might as well be put to use. This time when I came home, it was different. My room had become my brothers music room and a place for him to study. So where was I to put my bags when there were ap test books and papers spread out on the floor, his computer and speakers on the desk and an organ, eletric piano and guitars in any other open spaces. The one thing that was untouched was my bed. It is not much of a bed though. Most describe it as a cloud.

Because I love my brother so much and I am so forgiving, I guess its ok to share the space with him. He is going to be coming to A&M (whoop!) in the fall so he won't be able to have it all the time anymore. Also, eventhough it is summer, there is little time that I am going to be home. Where will I be? Well I am glad you asked...
